“There comes a time when we need a helping hand.” If you have a friend who is going through a difficult time and could use a little TLC, our Food for Friends service is just what they need. We will go to your friend’s home and cook a fabulous dinner for four. (If they don’t have four people, then they’ll have some tasty leftovers for the next day or for the freezer.) And as a special treat, we will make a donation to two worthwhile organizations that help friends in need – HomeAid Sacramento and the Twin Lakes Food Bank. That way, we’ll nourish your friend’s body, spirit and soul. Contact us to take part in this wonderful program.

HomeAid Sacramento was founded to build and maintain dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives. HomeAid Sacramento has built or renovated 48 multi-unit shelter projects, donating more than $7 million towards construction. Nearly 5,000 homeless have been housed through HomeAid Sacramento’s efforts.

Twin Lakes Food Bank helps over 30,000 people per year providing services to families, individuals and children in our local communities. It provides many services including food, clothing and essential supplies for everyday living. out more.
